With many teams starting training this week, it’s a timely reminder that mouth-guards are compulsory for games and training (for grades where there is contact ie U7 Last 4 Rounds & Above Age Groups).
For those would like a special mouth-guard fitted by a dentist, the kind chaps at Manly Denture Clinic (next to Manly Oval) have agreed to discount their mouth guards for all Roos players from $120 to $100 for a single colour and $130 to $110 for double colour, moulded mouth guard. Other places can quote between $160-$190.

The alternative is to visit your local chemist (or Rebel or other sports store) and purchase a mouth-guard which can be moulded to the mouth by softening the guard with hot water. Many parents say these can be just as good.
