The annual King of the Hills Gala Day was held last weekend at the Hills Rugby Club, Baulkham Hills.
The mighty Under 8s coached by Hamish Matheson, Jonas Daly and Gareth Isaac showed great spirit, team work and courage. The boys didn’t make the final but Alex Matheson was crowned Player of the Tournament in a 3 way draw with 2 other boys from the Hills and Norths.
The U9s had wins against Avoca (38-0) and Norths (28-10) before losing a nail biting showdown with a very strong Hills team. We led for the first half of the game before finally going down 7 – 14.
It was a great, well run tournament! Well done Roos U8s and U9s!
