Has your boy or girl enjoyed learning to play touch rugby at school?
This term, your child has been having fun learning with their friends playing VIVA 7’s (non-contact) rugby during their school sports lessons. The sessions have been provided by the NSW Rugby Union, Australian Government’s Sporting Schools, and your local club the Manly Roos.
Come and play with other local schools at our own Rugby World Cup family day!
Friday, 6 November, 4.00-6.30pm, Keirle Park, Manly
400 boys & girls from five local schools have been sharing the fun of rugby, and to celebrate the fun, we are hosting a Family Gala Day at Keirle Park:
- a Rugby World Cup themed VIVA 7’s competition for all the boys & girls to play the game they’ve learned at school
- Free sausages sizzling on the BBQ, so no need to prepare dinner for the kids
- BYO or Bar/Canteen facilities open
- Qualified, experienced coaches for fun learning and playing
(All coaches registered on the NSW Government Working with Children website.)
With the Wallabies going so well at the Rugby World Cup – what better time to experience the fun, culture, friendship and passion that the Manly Roos and rugby have to offer!
Don’t forget to pack the sports kit if Friday isn’t usually a sports day!
