Australia’s biggest festival of Minis rugby was held on Sunday when 2
0 Under 8s and 20 Under 9s teams from across NSW descended on Denzil Joyce Oval to compete to become the 2015 Harlequins Cup Champions.
Both the Manly Roos U8 and U9s showed real spirit in the pool games, but unfortunately didn’t make it through to the finals.
The U8s went really well – clocking up some big wins in the pool games – but after loosing their final pool game didn’t have enough points to make it through to the semis.
While the U9s won their first three pool games, but were defeated in their final pool game when they met Hills – the eventual winner of the Gala Day. (Two weeks ago Hills also won the King Of The Hills gala day)
