Congratulations U11 Manly Marlins

Well done to the two undefeated (!) U11 Manly Marlins reps teams, who were presented to Manly Oval with their U12 and U13 mates last Saturday.

The U11s have two teams playing in an unofficial championship. The As results were outstanding: 6 wins, 5 of them to nil, and some of the opposition very lucky to reach 0. The Roos were represented by Josh Turner, Cole Van-de-Water and Brandon Smith. Josh displayed all his talents on day one before succumbing to injury, Cole destroyed opposition front rows and had the front-row dream of scoring in the finale against Gordon, while Brandon ran hard out wide to score a heap of tries.

U11 Blue: 41 – 0 v Eastwood, 41 – 0 v Norths, 12 – 0 v Wests, 38 – 0 v Warringah, 26 – 7 v Sydney Uni, 21 – 0 v Gordon. Beautiful numbers.

The Reds had an equally successful couple of days, the Roos represented by Seb Bush, Gabe High, Joe Gay and Ryan Munro. Seb led the forwards from the front all weekend and Gabe was a constant menace in the loose, tackling his heart out and pilfering at the breakdown. Joe directed play awesomely all weekend in the halves and Ryan tore backlines apart with his strong running and defence.

U11 Red: 55 – 0 v Eastwood, 50 – 12 v Randwick, 27 – 14 v Central West, 21 – 15 v Southern Districts, 24 – 5 v Parramatta 14 – 7 v Gordon. Superb.

A bit careless not chalking up the century against Eastwood, but the Roos and the Manly district clearly having many glorious days of rugby ahead from these lads!
