There are two opportunities for new and current coaches to develop their coaching skills for the 2015 season:
- Our annual “Coaches Night” on Monday 16 March at 6:30-8:30pm at Keirle Park Clubhouse
- the first Smart Rugby Course for the year, at Seaforth on March 9, 7:00pm-9:00pm
These are on top of the Coaches and Managers meeting this Wednesday, 4th March at KP, 7.30pm.
Yes, the season has started!
The Coaches Night will share best practices, drills, key differences between age groups, different resources, things to watch for and tips that could help in the different age groups. Ultimately a knowledge sharing exercise with us all learning of each other. Please contact daryl.sisson@gmail.com if you would like to attend or need additional information.
SmartRugby is mandatory for every coach and referee where there is a tackling component. If you have not coached before or have not done it for a while you may need to do it again (online is an option if you have done it recently).
You can register at www.rugby.com.au/nswcourses, where other courses are also listed.
