After the Polar Vortex of last week, the weather put on a strong showing, with a cracking day up in the Hills for the annual KOTH Gala Day. \u00a0Both the Manly Roos U8 and U9s showed real spirit in the pool games, but unfortunately didn’t make it through to the finals.<\/p>\n

The U8s gave their opposition a real run for their money, but couldn’t quite come\u00a0away with a win – but the games were very close.<\/p>\n

While the U9s had two really good wins.\u00a0 First game vs Chatswood and then in the second game vs Epping. \u00a0However they\u00a0lost their final pool match in a rugged match vs ‘traditional rivals’ Harbord.<\/p>\n

It was great to get experience playing teams and styles of rugby different from that on the Northern Beaches (and also to know the Roos’ Egg and Bacon rolls would win if they had Canteen Gala Days).<\/p>\n

Now its onto the Harbord Gala Day in a couple of weeks.<\/p>\n
