U7 – $230
U8 – $240
U9 – $240
U10 – $250

Player Transfers

There are many reasons for players to change clubs. However, there are competition rules which restrict some transfers. Please contact the club to ask about transferring to the Roos.

Clubs are permitted two imported Representative and/or Development Players from another Club, per age group in a single season. For each representative player over two imported players, competition points will be deducted at the discretion of the Competition Manager and SJRU Board.

Rugby Explorer Registration System

Anyone who has a volunteer role needs to register themselves. There is no cost involved with this. This is particularly important to those involved with Juniors performing tasks such as selecting team sheets, or scoring. The club secretary need to give you “admin” access. In order to do that, you need to have a login to Rugby Xplorer. Here is the link in order to do this:
Rugby Australia have updated their Web Site with Parent & Club Admin information. Go to http://www.rugbyau.com/participate/rugby-administration/club-administration/resource-library

They are also running Webinars to help. More Webinars have been scheduled – check out

  1. I have a $100 voucher from Service NSW for the active kids program, can I redeem this voucher when registering online, or do I need to do it in person?

    • Hi, thanks. Yes you can the voucher when registering online. Although the online system is not yet up and running.. give it a couple of days before you try. thanks and cheers Marty

  2. No that won’t be a problem. For example last year we had five boys join the under 11’s who had never played union before. They had a great time and quickly caught up the the boys who had played before.

  3. Hi there I’m looking to enrol Hudson Bates in under 6 rugby this winter could you please advise of the process

    Thank you
    Georgia

    • Hi Georgia. I am not sure if you received a reply. The registrations are done through the Rugby Xplorer App. The instructions are now on our website. You should bring Hudson down to Keirle Park on Thursday at 5.00pm for run around / try rugby. Regards Geoff

  4. Hello, Just registered our son Daniel Akester via the Rugby AU portal. His DOB is 14/03/2005 he would be in the under 14’s. Can you advise on training days and schedule please? the MRJRU website outline that U14’s Roos play as part of combined Manly Vikings teams with Harbord and Seaforth Clubs. Would be great to understand how this works. Daniel played as a hooker for Dartford Grammar School A team and Bromley Rugby Club in the UK. Recently relocated and he’s keen to get back into rugby. Info would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Rob

  5. Hello. My son is turning 4 and wanting to get started. Is this possible?
    Best,
    Abby

    • Hi Abby, since he’s only 4 and the season ends in a five weeks time it’s probably best he comes along in March next year to a try Rugby session. Keep an eye on teh websites for the next season dates.

      Thanks
      Alan
