U15 Roos Tours New Zealand 2011
In 2009, the Roos U15 team undertook a Roos Tours New Zealand during the July school holidays, playing Christchurch Boys’ High School and Kings College in Dunedin. The Roos won both games.
In the meantime the team travelled around the South Island, going skiing, jet boating, paintballing and sightseeing, including a visit to a Maori Village and Cadbury World, and undertook rugby training sessions and had breakfast with some All Blacks.
It was a great experience for all our players.
This year’s Roos U14 team are going in 2011 and have recently launched their fund raising. The U14 team has conducted the barbeque at two Manly Marlins games, and you can expect to hear more from them as the fundraising gets into full swing. Watch for the launch of the Roos Tous NZ 2011 Wine Selection.
Your support of our 2011 Tourists is sought as we hope that the 2009 and 2011 Tours establish a Roos tradition to be followed and looked forward to by our younger players.
As the Roos team had such success on the field in 2009, the 2011 Tourists have been warned by the coach of the 2009 Tourists, Scott Foketi, who has an understanding of New Zealand rugby, that their hosts will be out to ensure that the tables are reversed on the return Tour.
Details on your chance to support the 2011 New Zealand Tour through wine sales COMING SOON!
