The arrangements currently in place to deal with ground closures etc due to inclement weather are detailed below:
All grounds are to be considered OPEN until notification has been made in accordance with the following guidelines:
- Where inclement weather forces the closure of grounds call the following council numbers and check the status:
- Manly Council 9976 1699
- Warringah Council 9981 2099
- Pittwater Council 9970 1236 (north of Narrabeen Lake)
- Team Managers are responsible for contacting their respective team members by phone or email and notifying them regarding cancellation or training and matches.
- Where a match is to be cancelled, the Team Manager MUST make contact with the opposition team manager as soon as possible to advise them of any ground closure. They need to arrange for an alternative playing time. Team contacts can be found on opposition club’s websites.
- Match Day Coordinators will work with teams to notify the match referee of the cancellation as a matter of urgency.
