Sponsor the Mighty Roos in 2010!

Sponsorship

The Manly Roos Rugby Football Club would like to cordially invite you to become a Sponsor of our Rugby Club in 2010.

As a brief overview of our Club, we cater for around 300 kids and 700 parents drawn directly from the local area, and field approximately 20 teams ranging in ages 6 to 18. We are a direct feeder into the Manly Rugby Club and in fact some ex-Roos players are playing grade for Manly as are current and past Wallabies. George Smith played for the Roos in his early years and credits that early experience and culture with developing his passion for the game.

We are also one of the junior largest rugby club by way of numbers of players and teams fielded and in 2009 finals success rate of any club in the Metropolitan Northern Zone (MNZ), and are recognised by the Sydney Junior Rugby Union (SRU) and the New South Wales Rugby Union (NSWRU) as the leading junior rugby club in the Metropolitan Northern Zone.

The club has recently taken occupation of a new clubhouse facility at Kierle Park and we will use this facility to foster the ongoing development of a vibrant rugby union community, as well as continue to develop our strong ties with the local community through holding social engagements, as well as around the weekend schedule of home games and training.

From a Committee perspective, we see our active participation as a way of giving something back to the community and the game, and achieving our Vision for the Club:

“For Manly Roos Rugby Football Club to be recognised as the leading
Junior Rugby Club in the MNZ and NSW.”

Our Club Values also reflect a strong link to the community, and we strive to be a family club, strongly driven to attract, foster and retain our players and their passion for Rugby.

The rugby season runs from April to late September. Over the course of the season our players will be seen regularly by the many spectators who attend home and away games and we will receive local media coverage, in the Manly Daily. For example, Jean Hay the Mayor of Manly recently opened our clubhouse and we received excellent coverage in the local media.

We are looking for Sponsors for the upcoming 2010 season that starts in April 2010. Detailed below are the sponsorship packages available for consideration.
